Gov successfully competing at the Canadian Carriage Classic 2002. He was 1st Turnout, 2nd Cross Country, 1st Reinsmanship, 5th Working, 4th Scurry, 6th Ride and Drive, Reserve Champion Large Pony.   He followed this show with the Walnut Hill Driving Competition in Pittsford, N.Y. where he was 1st Reinsmanship, 3rd Gig Turnout, 5th Pleasure Turnout Large Pony, 2nd Progressive Obstacle, 6th Cross Country, Reserve Champion Large Pony. Culminating those wins with a Silver Medal in the North American Pleasure Driving Championship for Large Single Pony. Gov was beautifully trained in harness and produced by Jeff Kohler.
